Dr. Sophie Hölscher is a visiting research scholar from Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg, Germany. She holds a PhD in Psychology, with their doctoral research focusing on the role of autonomy and belonging in the school context for adolescents’ cultural identity development. Her research further seeks to advance teachers' awareness of structural inequalities tied to race, gender, and sexuality within the context of teacher education. Since 2023, she has been on the board of the Early Researchers Union of the European Association of Developmental Psychology.
