Priscilla Beltran (she/her/hers) is a recent graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she earned her Ed.M. in Education Policy & Analysis. Before her time at HGSE, she received her B.S. in Political Communication from Emerson College. She is interested in advancing racial and economic equity through the public education system, with a focus on how education can expand opportunity and support upward mobility for historically marginalized communities. Combining her background in research, policy, and communications, along with her lived experience as a first-gen Mexican American, she hopes to contribute to research that informs policies and practices addressing educational inequities faced by low-income students and students of color. She is eager to contribute to the crucial work that the AERID lab is leading and looks forward to growing her skills and passions.
