#  Tristan Ross

Tristan Ross is an educator, musician, and current graduate student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Tristan's interests include technology-mediated international collaborations for students, promoting intercultural and racial-ethnic sensitivity, and paradigms of communication and speech traditions in South Asia. He graduated from SUNY Cortland in 2020 with a B.A. in International Studies and a minor in Computer Applications, where he pursued undergraduate research on the SUNY COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) framework for international collaboration, culminating in a thesis research project studying the relationship between COIL and developing intercultural competence in an American COIL class tele-collaborating with Finnish and German sports management students. He has presented research on best practices for COIL at the International Virtual Exchange conference in New York City, and currently works with the intercultural education nonprofit [One Globe Kids](https://oneglobekids.org/). Tristan is a founding member of [the Ithaca Bottom Boys](https://theithacabottomboys.bandcamp.com/), a rock group from his hometown of Ithaca, NY.
