Mamfatou Baldeh

Headshot Mamfatou BaldehMamfatou Baldeh is a doctoral student in the Human Development, Learning, and Teaching concentration at Harvard's Graduate School of Education (HGSE). Her interests include intersectional identity development (e.g., gender, religion, socioeconomic status) within Black communities and the connections between Black identity development and individual and community thriving. Her work aims to center identity, alignment, and action for adolescents of color as they chart paths into adulthood.  Mamfatou is a proud native of The Bronx, New York by way of Senegal and The Gambia. She earned her Ed.M. in higher education from HGSE and her B.A. in psychology from Columbia University.
