Cody Uyeda
Cody Uyeda is an Ed.M. candidate in the Specialized Studies program at HGSE. He holds a B.A. in English and Communication, as well as a J.D., from the University of Southern California. Prior to HGSE, he gained experience as a writing consultant, and was involved in research initiatives with the Annenberg Inclusion Initiative examining diversity in the media, and with USC’s Center for Education, Identity, and Social Justice examining high school to college transition experiences. At HGSE, Cody’s interests center broadly on the impacts of ethnic-racial identity, the development and maintenance of cultural communities, and curriculum development in the context of instructional efficacy, changing workforce needs, and diversity initiatives.
